Whether they are being used on the beach, as a shelter from the sun or to create a nice secluded area around your tent on the campsite, windbreaks are a popular addition to any camping trip. We have windbreaks of varying shapes and sizes, from our Outdoor Revolution 5 pole windbreak to the Khyam 8 Pole Provincial Blue windbreak, which is over 7 meters long!
Cotton, Nylon, Canvas and even recycled sails are used as windbreaks. They usually consist of 3 or more panels, which are held by poles, which slide into pockets sewn into the panels. These poles are usually either steel poles or some beach windbreaks have wooden stakes, which can be knocked into the sand. Our Khyam range of windbreaks consist of Polyester panels, held in position by steel poles which can be pushed into the ground and supported by guy lines to give them extra stability.
