Delivery & Returns

Charges

Most of our tents are subject to a small delivery charge to cover the cost of sending to you.  You will see the charge when reaching the checkout This covers delivery anywhere in the UK mainland.  We will send off shore eg. Ireland, Isle of Wight, Channel Isles, Scottish Islands, etc.  The delivery cost is approximately £20 to £30 depending on the weight of the goods.  Please ring us and we can confirm the cost of shipping 01823 413333 Opt 3

Order Times

Under most circumstances orders will be delivered within 7 days of cleared payment being received.  We offer deliveries on a Monday to Friday basis and normally we will despatach the day after receiving the order.  We offer an overnight service and use Interlink Express

If a particular order is subject to delay, for example when items are out of stock, Somerset Camping will take steps to contact the customer by telephone or email to advise of the delay.

Collection-Only Items

Some large items, such as trailer tents are clearly marked 'Collection Only'. The delivery standard delivery terms do not relate to these items.

Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled for any reason up until the point of the goods being despatched. Any payments made will be returned.

Returns

We aim to deliver our products in perfect condition, and for our customers to be delighted with their purchases. However, we are aware that occassionally it may be necessary to return goods that arrive in an unsatifactory condition.

We therefore ask customers to check items carefully on delivery. If an item is found to be faulty, or fails to meet expectations, we ask that this matter be brought to the immediate attention of the delivery personnel. The delivery team will then return the items to us for inspection. Our customer service operatives will be in contact within a two working days, to either arrange a full refund, or, at the customer's discretion, a replacement.

Should a fault be found after delivery, but within 7 days of delivery, we ask that we be contacted by telephone or email. We will take the items back, and arrange for a full refund, or, at the customer's discretion, a replacement. However, in this circumstance the customer will be required to pay the cost of returning the item to our warehouse. We therefore ask that items be checked very carefully on delivery.

Refunds

Refunds will be granted if goods arrive in an unsatifactory condition, and the matter is brought to our attention within 7 days of delivery.

Refunds will be considered in other circumstances at the discretion of the Company Management.
